Rant

You all can blame this one on #3 Countrywide. It's what got my anger rolling! These things all bug me for the time being. So I am going to let em out!
  1. Truck Drivers. You all are a bunch of idiots and I think you should only be able to drive in the slow lane. And I applaud Mr red titan truck, he refused to get out of the way and even when honked at, turned on his blinker but didn't get in the other lane for about 3 minutes. It was awesome and made me smile.
  2. The stare down. You know when someone is tailing you; because apparently they have somewhere better to be; and when they pass you in a fit of rage they give you the stare down. Come on really? Get over yourself. See ya at the next red light jack @ss!
  3. Countrywide. There are no words to explain the hatred I feel for this company right now. In the real estate industry, dealing with short sales it never fun. Some banks are easier to work with than others. But being told that our file was "accidentally closed out on May 15th" and that we should have resubmitted everything back then makes me want to reach through the phone and literally choke someone. I have been dealing with this group of idiots for 8 freaking months and for the past three months all I have had is smoke blown up my @! *trying to breathe* Ridiculous I tell you. I have now been on the phone for 43 minutes and am being transferred YET again. I hate them.
  4. Taco Bell on 1700 W 12600 S. There is no reason one should wait 20 + minutes in a drive thru or lobby just to get a taco. NO REASON. They have one person who runs the drivet hru window and the lobby and he is slower than tar! And I'm pretty sure he rode the short bus to school, not that there is anything wrong with that. But get the poor kid some help!
  5. My neighbors music. Should one really have to listen to your music through the ceiling at 2 in the morning? Green day was cool and all... back in 8th grade. I don't want to have to listen to it all night and sing it in my sleep. And dear neighbor, do you ever sleep?! Plus your dad is creepy.
  6. Pestering. I guess that's the right word... We will call you Carl. I know you mean well, I really do. And I appreciate your concern and support. But when you go running with me (which I'm pretty sure I'll never let you come again) be nice. Telling me I'm a wuss doesn't help, and after the fifth time up the bleachers please don't laugh and ask me if I'm tired. Of course my @ is tired! We just did a mile and now were doing bleachers... yup pretty sure I'm getting tired. Stop laughing at me jerk. I'm having flashbacks of soccer practice with my dad.
  7. Bachelorette. Jesse really? Sister come on. Jesse is a nice guy and sometimes looks kinda cute. But he is that boyfriend that EVERY girl has had. You think he's totally cool for about 2 weeks, until you wake up. He snowboards... yup. I hope Jason is the next Bachelor. He's cute!

I think that is it for now. Thanks!

Party Time, Excellent!

ONE!
My baby is no longer a baby.
Wyatt's birthday is on July 12
th (Next Saturday). We will be having a small party with cake and ice cream in the afternoon. I haven't pinned down all the details, because just today it dawned on me that in deed, his birthday is in one week. It has gone by so fast! He is so funny and he even waved at me today while my mom was holding him. Aw! Anyway, I will get all the details put together and would love for everyone to come if you can! If you can e-mail me gibbsashleyj@gmail.com or call me. I'm not going to post all the details on my blog. I don't want his birthday turning into some weird creep stalker fest. So that's the plan! Next Saturday!

Wyatt Sargent

My little man will be turning ONE in seventeen days! I called him Sarge the other day and my mom said that everyone called her Sarge in high school. Not sure she really enjoyed it though! He is so dang funny and easy going.

I really need a vacation! Wyatt and I are going to St George in August with my friends, but I feel like that is a century away! I have this totally bad attitude lately at work that will hopefully be cured once I am away and work free!
This may be too much information, so I apologize right now. But I have discovered a new thing that I absolutely can not stand and it's the sound of men peeing. Honestly it is the loudest thing ever! I had to plug my ears this morning because I could hear my bosses husband peeing. I can't stand it. I hate it so much I would actually put it in the top 5 hates of my life.
Turn on the fan for heaven sakes!
So here I am eating string cheese. Wyatt is sleeping. My boss is at a closing. And I pretty much would just like to take a nap. Which I just might do. I am running on no caffeine for TWO days now. Which ya! But holy cow I'm about to crash. Anyway... I think that's pretty much all I have to say. Sorry Mike, nothing too exciting or provocative!

How can you tell?

So, I hate dating. I think it's the worst thing in america. I don't understand why you can't just be like "Hey you, I like you" and they say "Ya, I like you too" and then you just get married. I don't see what the problem with that would be. Honestly!

Okay, so I do see what the problem with that would me. The divorce rate would be even higher than it is now. But really why does it have to be so hard? Do I make it hard? And how can you really tell a guy is into you and for all the right reasons? I am such an impatient person when it comes to this kind of thing. Especially if I like the other person. I don't want to be too over bearing, say stupid things that girls say; which CLEARLY I've already done. "Dont Hate" is all he had to say to my stupid girl text! *sigh*

So all you smug marrieds out there well and single ladies that have more of a life than I do. How can you tell if he's into you? And how do I not read into every stupid thing he says to me? I'm going crazy as you can tell. This is the sort of thing that makes me want to pull my hair out!

Help?!

Even if you don't really know who I am and are just a passer by, or a blog stalker, or a friend of a friend... Your advice is welcomed!

my child... such a nerd.

As a mother (and a single one at that) you always imagine that you're child's first word(s) will have something to do with how wonderfully amazing you are, right? Like "love momma" or "mommy amazing" ha ha But no... this is not the way it has turned out. Yes Wyatt is only 11 months and he's done the whole mamamamamama babble and thrown in the dadadadadada stuff as well. But that's just easy to say. And I know that what happened tonight was just one of those "freak" accidents, at least we can hope.

*Drumroll*

Wyatt: "Hi, dad"... Oh yes, clear as day! The words weren't all jumbled together, it sounded like it was coming from a two year olds mouth! I went to a bbq tonight with a bunch of my guy friends. We were all sitting around talking (I was mainly listening and nodding, boys talk about the weirdest things and they gossip like old ladies!) and wyatt pipes up with a big ol "Hi, dad". I mean seriously. Where did he pull that one out of? The whole conversation stopped and we all looked at each other for a minute and then just busted up laughing, as did he. Which he should! What a jokester he is! If he only knew... It was so funny.

I pretty much love just about every minute with this kid. I feel like every day he is happier and happier. Which makes my job so much easier!

Anyway, I am in need of some serious bed time! I just wrote two paragraphs and then deleted them. I started to get all sappy in a "I'm so tired i could puke right now" kinda way. And no one needs that. It isn't the best blog reading material, and my ratings have dropped as it is! So in the words of the girl at the beans and brew drive thru... "Peace out"*

*Crazy hippie

The Beast...

Let me just start this out with a little disclaimer. I love dogs... big, small, medium. I love them. I plan on having one once Wyatt is a little older. I have always been a dog person, minus the ups and downs that I have had with my mothers dog. Fini is a queen and must be treated as such. Whatever.

So, about a month ago I was at work and taking my garbage out. Like the good person I am, and for some reason I had her son come out to help me. They have a german shephard named Jack, who is a little more aggressive, but I've always been able to handle him. Well on this particular occassion we go through the garage because the cans are in the backyard right out the garage door. So we go out, I toss the garbage and the next thing I know Jack is trying to eat me and in my attempt to get into the garage he BITES my BUTT. Yes.. he got me, no blood or anything, but he got me. If Weston wasn't out there to sort of pull him back (Jack is pretty much as big as Weston) things would have been a lot worse I fear.

Which brings us to this next situation. I get to work yesterday morning when I am told that my boss and her family are going on a very last minute trip to San Diego. So we are getting things prepared and one of the things on the list was to "Get Jack to like Ashley". HA right. So we get some treats, go outside and BAM! It happens again! Jenn grabbed him and I was able to get back into the house with minor injury**. So she's freaking out and her husband comes up and goes outside, grabs him and pulls him by me. Jack is TERRIFIED of Kirk. So then all three of us go outside and it's okay, then Kirk turns around to go back inside and Jack makes a break for me. ARE YOU KIDDING? This dog does NOT like me. For what reason I'm not really sure. Maybe I'm in his "territory" and being that he sees me 5 days a week in the house just isn't enough for him to get over it.

So for the next 5 days, I have to figure out how to feed this beast and get him water WITHOUT getting eaten. You unlock the backdoor and his ears perk up and he's there in no time flat. I'm thinking of ways to get it done and hopefully I'm successful in doing so.

** He barely got me, I have a bruise kinda on my hip and a mark and the shirt I was wearing is no longer. But at least I got a new shirt out of it right?

I can't believe how fast life goes by. Wyatt will be ONE next month. I can't even believe it! He is such a fun little kid with the cutest personality. He now pretends to be shy anytime anyone talks to him. He will smile a huge cheeser, look down, and twiddle his fingers around. It's so darn cute! And I'm convinced he only does it because it ALWAYS gets the biggest reaction. He also is quite the dancer, I love it. One of his personal favorite songs is 4 minutes by Madonna and Justin Timberlake and now Crazytown's starry eyed suprise. And of course he is walking all over the dang place. Although he started a little over a month ago, he's pretty much mastered it now. And suprisingly we've only had a few bumps. He's been pretty cautious so far, it's when he gets super excited we get a bump.

So I guess now I have to plan his birthday party. I know it's a big thing, but really how much can you do for a one year old? It will be fun though! So I'm going to get planning now!
