Where is your mother?

Tonight Wyatt and I went to the park for a little picnic, which I basically had a picnic by myself. Wyatt found himself a cute friend and they ran around together for about 45 minutes. The other mother and I joked around because her daughter bossed Wy around the whole time and he just let her. I assume that's from being around his 4 girl cousins all the time.

Anyway, while we were there these three kids show up. Two boys I would say like 13 and 10? And then a sister who was somewhere in the middle of them. All of them were riding around on their scooters, the oldest boy wearing a black ski mask type thing (creepy) and the youngest was wearing a cape. All of them looking pretty scroungy and their clothes all dirty. But this youngest boy had quite the chip on his shoulder. Wyatt was playing around and the kid rode by and goes "don't piss me off". I was so confused, part of me wanted to get up, grab him and ask what the hell his problem was and then I decided that probably wasn't a good idea. There was another kid there running around the play ground for "exercise" (yes he really said that, he looked 7ish) and the cranky young kid thought he was chasing him. Cranky stopped his scooter right in front of me and looked like he was about to start throwing punches. I started laughing and he turned around and glared at me! I mean really? So I just said really nicely that the other kid wasn't chasing him around and he's just running for fun. So what was his reply? "Oh I thought he was trying to piss me off". Really? At this point I just felt bad. I'm sure he hears this at home all the time. Not once did he even crack a smile.

I love people watching... Sometimes you have to wonder where these people come from.
