killer

satan strikes again.. aka that stupid dog, aka jack. and this time i wasn't so lucky. my bosses dog hates me, i'm not really sure why. it may be a territorial thing or just because he's satan. i haven't figured it out. and lucky won't have to again. last wednesday my boss, her kids, wyatt and i decided to go to dinner. everyone was running around getting things cleaned up and getting ready to go. jenn's son went outside in the garage to feed the dog and a few minutes later i grabbed wyatt and started to head to our car. at that same moment jenn decided to check on her son and the dog as she opened the door she noticed the garage door open and satans tail disappearing around the corner.. in my direction. also in that same moment his head popped around the corner and our eyes locked and i knew i was in trouble. i semi turned, opened the door and literally threw wyatt inside and shut the door. according to jenn before i shut the door i told wyatt everything was okay(she was coming back through the house to the front door hoping to stop jack before he got to me). i don't remember much besides opening the door and then screaming. it literally happened so fast! jenn's son was trying to get satan off me and by the time jenn got to the front door and satan saw her it obviously was too late. terrifying? yes. i sat on her porch for a few more seconds and then realized that i better get back in the house before killer decided to strike again. i had no idea where he had gone or who had him at this point. i was in so much shock and tried to calm down enough to calm wyatt down. i'm positive that he was just more upset that i made him go back inside and he was fine after i calmed down myself. however my leg was killing me, i checked my pants and they weren't torn or ripped anywhere so i sat there for a little bit longer kind of in a fog. finally i went to the bathroom to clean my hand off that was bleeding and to asses the damage to me leg. when i finally saw my leg i wanted to cry but was still in so much shock that no tears surfaced. jenn's husband left his work dinner to come home and after a look at my leg we were off to the insta care where i had a super cute doctor and received about a dozen stitches. so needless to say i will most likely be terrified of german shepherds for the rest of my life! the funny thing is that i am probably more of a dog person than anyone in that family. i feel bad for her middle daughter because she was really attached to her dog. but if the dog didn't go, you can bet i would have. so my leg hurts and is really bruised. i will have to get the pictures that my mom took of it yesterday. it's quite different from the pictures below.

i think this is where he first got me, it was by far the deepest and has a majority of stitches

this one is up just above the first one and still pretty knarly.

i am so grateful that i was able to get wyatt back in the house. he would have been majorly traumatized and terrified of dogs for the rest of his life i'm sure. jenn's neighborhood is always really quiet, but at that moment there were a bunch of girls across the street hanging out and a lady walking her two dogs who screamed, picked up her dogs and ran. it was scary to say the least. ugh!

  3. What a crazy story. I'm glad you're okay and especially that Wyatt wasn't involved. Have you been back to the cute doc yet?!
