he's no longer a baby

Well, I figured that it may be time to get a post out there. It has been a little over a month and it has seemed to fly right by.

Wyatt will be 2 on Sunday, and it doesn't quite seem real. He is getting so big and is quite the handsome little boy. I love just watching him, he amazes me and I am so grateful for him.

What's going on in Wyatt's little life:
  • He no longer listens to mom. I'm not sure I can blame him either, sometimes I get sick of my own voice. This picture is a great example of that.
  • *3 words... Trains, Trains, Trains. K I know that's only 1 word, but he is THAT obsessed.
  • He knows his alphabet and some of the sounds the letters make. I am the only one to witness it so far, but it's no lie.
  • Bedtime no longer seems to be an option with him and it about pushes me over the edge.
  • This boy has rhythm. I love watching him dance.
  • He loves his cousins.
  • He licks me because he thinks it's funny, and I have NO idea where he learned this. Probably from Kristen.
  • He has major attitude, don't ask me where that came from :)
  • He can sign quite a few signs but now that he talks more they have taken a back seat. Except please and thank you, he still uses those over saying them.
  • He loves when we get company, which doesn't happen often, but he gets really excited.
  • He apparently knows how to say sucker. I just found that out this second when he brought me one for him to open.
There is so much that I love about wy, but it would take forever to list everything. He is a great kid! I'm really blessed.
We get to go on a little vacay this weekend. The Warners are kind enough to let us go down to their house in Glenwood and just relax and play. I'm really excited and we are going to have a little birthday party for Wyatt while we are down there.

Work is going really well. I have the best job and boss ever. She takes good care of me and especially Wyatt. And we're busy, so that is also nice! We started taking pilates together and it is my most favorite thing ever. I think that EVERYONE should take pilates and I will probably bug you about it until you do. It's that great.

And this is our life, not much but somehow we stay busy. Gotta love it.
