I'm going to start this out with a shout out to one of my sisters who has inspired me and challenged me to dig a little deeper. She wrote a really awesome blog post here.
Lately I've been forced to make some grown up decisions, which I hate doing. Can't my mom still do that for me? Anyway, I guess that option has been gone for awhile now. To kick off this new found responsibility I have decided to start cleaning out my crap. I started with my closet yesterday and I must say it looks spectacular! It was quite the task seeing as how it's pretty large. I took before and after pictures, which hopefully I will be able to post soon. My next endeavor will be all the clothes that no longer fit Wyatt, wish me luck!
I loved going through all of my stuff and found some great things. Keys to the office I lost, pictures, wedding announcements, drawings from friends past, birthday cards, letters, papers from the hospital when I had Wyatt, etc. I found a letter that one of my sisters gave me after I had Wyatt, I think about it often but it was nice to actually read it again. It was just a confirmation to me that things will be okay and I'm on the right track. My family is nothing short of amazing, we all have different views and don't always agree on everything but we stick together. I've realized that what works for one of us isn't always going to work for the other and that's okay. Like my mom said, we've survived everything we have because we love each other. I'm so lucky.
